What it is

A video mapping and contemporary dance work by Camilo Cogua Rodríguez that premiered in November 2018, where I was the technical and creative audiovisual assistant: designing the visuals and the mapped projection. The piece works with fragments of the work directed by maestro Rogelio López, assisted by Neva Kenny, Luis Montoya and Camilo Martínez Ríos.

Its theme is graduation: the students’ passage through the stage and their taking in of López’s choreographic language.

Visuals and mapping

For the central scene we made visuals in After Effects drawn from classical anatomical studies (Da Vinci), adapted to the horizontal scale of a white banquet table and projected with live geometric adjustment so the movement of the bodies and the light worked together.

Where it was shown

In November 2018, at the Gerardo Arango S.J. Building of the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Bogotá, Colombia.
