What it is
Línea Negra VR is a virtual reality experience conceived in 2023 that explores the territorial, spiritual and ecological understanding of the Línea Negra (Black Line, Shéshizha), the ring of sacred sites that encircles the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta and marks the ancestral territory of the four original peoples of the Sierra.
Spatial exploration and memory
The piece carries spatial coordinates, geographic relationships and memories of the landscape into an immersive three-dimensional environment, so the idea of a boundary can be experienced not as a physical division but as a continuous weave of ecological connections and care for the territory.
